Introducing Interlake Interack 30 Teardrop Old Style & New Style Pallet Racking

Interlake had traditionally offered teardrop style pallet rack. Teardrop rack has become the industry standard. Eventually Interlake's competitors began to manufacture a knock off or interchange of teardrop rack. Interlake responded by also introducing a New style pallet rack (U-Punch) that had a modified teardrop shaped hole but with square shaped top and new style beams that had less rounded and more shaved lugs. The two style of rack were not interchangeable. The other factories than began making their teardrop beams with shaved lug connectors as to be compatible with both styles. This is were the game of cat and mouse ended.

Interlake Mecalux no longer manufactures new style pallet rack with the U-Punch. The only form rack they manufacture now is teardrop pallet rack. Dont be confused, the name Interlake Interack 30 pallet rack is a name that encompasses 2 styles of pallet racking: New Style pallet rack with U-Punch & Teardrop pallet rack with F-Punch. As far as I know New Style pallet rack with U-Punch is no longer available. Not to worry, Interlake Mecalux new teardrop beams are designed to be compatible with both Interlake new style (U-Punch) and Interlake old style teardrop uprights.
